About the LTRG
The Anderson County Long Term Recovery Group (LTRG) is a collaborative partnership of community organizations, faith-based groups, nonprofits, businesses, and government agencies working together to help individuals and families recover after disaster.
Formed to meet the unmet needs that remain long after first responders leave and immediate relief efforts end, the LTRG focuses on long-term rebuilding and restoration. While emergency services address urgent life-safety issues in the immediate aftermath of a disaster, recovery can take months, or even years. The LTRG exists to bridge that gap.

What does a LTRG do?
The Anderson County LTRG coordinates resources, volunteers, donations, and case management services to ensure disaster survivors receive assistance in a fair, efficient, and compassionate manner. By bringing partners to one table, the group reduces duplication of services, identifies gaps in assistance, and maximizes available funding and community support.
Services may include:
-
Disaster case management
-
Home repair and rebuilding assistance
-
Coordination of volunteer labor
-
Distribution of donated goods and funds
-
Referrals to community support services
The Anderson County LTRG operates under the principle that recovery is strongest when the entire community works together. Through collaboration, accountability, and a shared commitment to service, the LTRG helps restore stability, rebuild homes, and renew hope for residents impacted by disaster.
Together, we are committed to helping Anderson County recover—stronger and more resilient than before.
